The Great Reset: Justice will Shine like the Noonday

May 31, 2025 | Hannah Gillespie

This is a prophetic word in nature, so please do as the scriptures remind us and weigh, discern and pray on this word. It is my responsibility as a prophetic voice in this generation to communicate the words I believe heaven is saying. I take great responsibility in doing so, and want to be a steward of His word and honoring to His timing. I believe this word will be personal for you as it has been for me. As always, I want you to feel encouraged, seen and be reminded that God is on the move. Thank you for joining me, as always!

He will make your innocence radiate like the dawn, and the justice of your cause will shine like the noonday sun.

Psalm 37:6, New Living Translation

Two days ago in my prayer time, I heard “reset.” I have been wrestling over the last week with regret. Regret over not doing x, y and z. It’s been a mental weight that I have found myself laying down each regret over and over again. Sure, I tried to carry it on my own, but this morning I was completely undone by it.

As I was praying through what the word “reset” means again this morning, I heard a kitchen timer ticking and then going off. If you recall the older white kitchen timers, you wind the dial to the time you need to set and then a loud ringing goes off, abruptly. This is what I believe God is sounding off – the timer is ticking down. Perhaps it’s a timer that you set and forgot about it. But now, the alarm is about to sound off. It is time to get ready. God reminded me this morning that HE did not forget about what I laid down in obedience, but that He is going to bring back things for multiplication, reformation and restoration.

WHERE DID IT FALL?

I believe this great reset is coming to so many who are riddled with regret, questions, fear and compromise. I have personally taken the time to reflect over the years of my life when things seemed better. When it seemed as if I was more successful, or more passionate about what I was doing with my time. It is almost as if I have been brought back to specific things God asked me to lay down for a season. Now, He is asking me to pick them back up. However, the regret and fear of restarting has been immense…paralyzing even. I have been trampled by the mental load, but the question was posed to me that I wish to share with you – Will you build it with me, Hannah?

In preparation for this, I was lead to 2 Kings 6:1-7. In this story the man’s axe head fell off into the Jordan river as they were collecting trees to build a new place for the company of prophets with Elisha to meet. When his axe head fell off into the river, he told Elisha. And Elisha asked him this –

The man of God asked, “Where did it fall?” When he showed him the place, Elisha cut a stick and threw it there, and made the iron float. “Lift it out,” he said. Then the man reached out his hand and took it.

2 Kings 6:6-7, New International Version

You might be wondering how this applies. Troy Brewer back in 2021 goes into a much better depiction of this (read the article here). My heart was struck with God asking me, personally, Where did it fall, Hannah? Where did you see it last? And what did it look like the last time you saw it? I gave Him a detailed description, and He asked me again – Will you build it this time with Me?

See, God is a restorer of things (just like the axe head floating back to the surface), but the intent of using the axe was to build something new in the land God allowed them to occupy. It is a parallel to what I see God orchestrating – He is reviving things that might work the same or be similar, but ultimately the new thing is being built for His glory. I have been asking, repeatedly, for the Holy Spirit to partner with me on building the new thing He is asking me to do. Notice how I didn’t say “rebuild.” It might seem like a similar thing He is asking, but I want to emphasis that it is a new build for a new thing. It might have similar features, a similar method, similar tools and so on. But don’t get it confused with the new thing God is doing. I have specifically heard the Lord say to calm my fears and what ifs – FORGET THE FORMER THING. BEHOLD I AM DOING A NEW THING.

Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.

Isaiah 43:18-19, New International Version

Because HE is doing it, I can rest and be patient with the process. I don’t have to have it figured out or spend my mental energy wondering how it’s going to work out. I can trust the Master Builder in this new process.

THE PERSISTENT WOMEN

Then Jesus told his disciples a parable to show them that they should always pray and not give up. He said: “In a certain town there was a judge who neither feared God nor cared what people thought. And there was a widow in that town who kept coming to him with the plea, ‘Grant me justice against my adversary.’ “For some time he refused. But finally he said to himself, ‘Even though I don’t fear God or care what people think, yet because this widow keeps bothering me, I will see that she gets justice, so that she won’t eventually come and attack me!’”And the Lord said, “Listen to what the unjust judge says. And will not God bring about justice for his chosen ones, who cry out to him day and night? Will he keep putting them off? I tell you, he will see that they get justice, and quickly. However, when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on the earth?

Luke 18:1-8, New International Version, emphasis mine

For the last few months, a personal prayer of mine has been for justice. Justice to reign in certain situations in my husband and I’s life. Not that any particular person has wronged us, but the enemy waged a war against us in the last season and we believe it is time for justice to rise over our home. One day in prayer a couple of weeks ago, I continued to pray along these lines and saw a large man in white walking in front of our home with a sword on his right side. I am not one to have visions often (I’m much more of a dreamer in this instance), but what I saw in the spirit has continued to resonate with me as I have personally prayed for justice. I believe this is true with His footsteps and His timing. He is walking among those who need justice, who need restoration, and with His mighty sword, justice will reign down on our enemies. Not by our might, but by His might and power. His glory will be magnified because of the things He will rework for our good.

I was reminded of the persistent woman who didn’t leave the evil judge alone until justice had been granted to her. An appeal of persistence lead her to justice in this parallel. It is the same with our prayers in this hour, I believe. Persistent prayers of justice as Luke 18 refers to are being answered in this season. Perhaps this doesn’t apply to you. But I have desperately needed God to “make everything right again” (Amos 9:13-15, MSG) To reset back to factory settings. Remove the damage that was done – not just heal it, but restore it back to a version which allows the new thing to come forth.

I read a moving article from The Joy Fountain Church which said this:

It is important to note that the King’s reset is not just a repair. It is more than a repair. A repair does not advance because it restores to the state prior to the damage. A reset repairs and updates to the place it should have advanced to from the point of damage. A reset is also like an inheritance. This means every interest and capital gain on the investment up to the time of delivery is given to the party inheriting.

Read the entire article here: https://joyfountainchurch.com/learn/fasting/the-kings-reset-psalm-505-6

I was floored after reading it, because I believe it is in alignment with what God is doing in His people. He is restoring back to the place where the damage was done, so it can advance from then on as if nothing happened. A fresh start, a new thing.

I believe many in the body of Christ have felt something similar. Whether it be trauma, regret, pain, injustice, word curses, etc. from the last season, God is making everything right again. Let justice flow from heaven!

Yet the LORD longs to be gracious to you; therefore he will rise up to show you compassion. For the LORD is a God of justice. Blessed are all who wait for him! People of Zion, who live in Jerusalem, you will weep no more. How gracious he will be when you cry for help! As soon as he hears, he will answer you.

Isaiah 30:18-19, New International Version

POSSESSION OF THE LAND

I know taking possession of the land is not a new phrase. But I noticed a theme as I read through verses about resets and justice. Taking the land or possessing the land is incredibly important to God. And, it should be to us as well. I don’t believe it is literally land (although, it could be), but I believe it is the land or the thing God has assigned you to. Whether this be your family, a circle of influence, a worship team, a gift, a small group, or something more complex such as stepping out and preaching, taking possession of the land comes with justice. Why? Because justice is a courtroom ruling that means because you were right or just in your case, this is being granted to you. But just because it was granted or awarded to you doesn’t mean you just sit on it. Like an inheritance, you are meant to invest in it. Pursue with tenacity what He is rewarding to you. Take hold it. Build it with Him. Ask Him for the blueprints and strategy. Plow and work the land He is giving you, so a harvest of reward can spring forth.

Follow justice and justice alone, so that you may live and possess the land the LORD your God is giving you.

Deuteronomy 16:20, New International Version

The New Living Translation uses the word “occupy” instead of posses for greater understanding of the significance of what this land that God is granting means for us.

Friends, God is working the behind the scenes on our behalf. I see case after case from the accuser of the brethern (Satan) being brought to the courts of heaven. But our past, our regrets, our disobedience, our denial and our former injustice cannot stop the new thing God is bringing forth in your life.

Then I heard a loud voice shouting across the heavens, “It has come at last— salvation and power and the Kingdom of our God, and the authority of his Christ. For the accuser of our brothers and sisters has been thrown down to earth— the one who accuses them before our God day and night.

Revelation 12:10, New Living Translation

I continue to see a mental image of file cabinet with filing folder on the metal track. Each folder contains something you once possessed but gave up on, gave back to Him or are waiting on Him to fulfill. Dreams, promises, plans, outcomes, situations, desires and so on all filed in this cabinet. They are all pushed to the front, but slowly and surely, one by one, a folder is being pushed back. It has new strategies, new prayers, new understandings, and fresh grace to do what God is asking of you. Without His grace you will burn out and be crushed under the weight of the assignment, but because His mercies are new and His grace is multiplied, you will see the possession of this assignment. But the caution is clear – don’t outpace Him as He is giving things back. Don’t rush His process or His timing. Be patient and have long-suffering as He knows what is the correct thing to give back to you in the timing it needs to arrive. He will take each case complied in the folder and bring justice to it.

JUSTICE like the noonday will shine again in your life! Be persistent in prayer, focused on heaven and may He reward you greatly for your sufferings.

Blessings,

Hannah F. Gillespie

I have been praying about certain situations. And this morning in prayer. I was praying over a situation and prayed that it would be as if it never happened. No residue on it. Thank you for this word and your obedience.

Hey there and welcome! I’m Hannah the author and voice behind The Beaten Olive. My desire is to see the Bride of Christ tending to her lamps until the King returns. I believe He is raising up prophetic voices in this hour to point the Bride of Christ back to the heart of her First Love, Jesus, as we await His glorious return. Let us be a ready bride for the soon-coming King, who is ready with oil in our lamps, dripping with His fragrance!

Word to Wood Designs

I have been hand lettering for over 10 years, and it is such a joy to scribe Biblical truths in a unique way. Each piece displayed in your home, office or as a gift, is meant to bring life to the command in Habbakkuk 2:2 – write the vision and make it plain, so that those who run can read it. Each piece is anointed, prayed over and painted by me. It’s my greatest delight to scribe the beauty of God’s promises and truths. Learn more here!
